Crest Whitestrips are great teeth whitening products. They all work the same way, and they come in many different forms. The strips contain hydrogen peroxide, which is the very effective bleaching agent found in many teeth whitening products.

Traditionally, teeth whitening products contained abrasive particles that were designed to “scrub” or “sand” the teeth. Crest Whitestrips work exceptionally well for teeth whitening products. They come in both over-the-counter and non-over-the-counter varieties, and there are different strengths of each. They contain anywhere from six percent hydrogen peroxide to fourteen percent.

Whitestrips, however, are not without their flaws. Because they are a strip, they cannot get in between the teeth. Sometimes, this causes a “zebra” effect on the teeth. Additionally, the adhesive material they are made with is not strong, and the strips can easily slide off the teeth, which prohibits users from eating, smoking, or drinking while wearing them. Because they are strips, the location of the Whitestrips on the teeth is easy to control. Therefore, users can avoid touching the gums with them, which can avoid tissue damage. Even though they are not perfect, Crest Whitestrips are some of the best teeth whitening products available.
